Community

Knights of Columbus - Promote fraternal ties among Catholic men and support the parish clergy. Contact Paul DiMarzio – 778-2840 or www.pavia48.tripod.com/

St. Mary Home School Association - Participate in planning events that involve the home and school. Contact Carolyn Schlichtig at 792-2432

Teen Mission Trip/Retreat - Annual Service Trip and Retreat for teens of the parish in High School. Contact Kate Fitzgerald at 744-5777

Young Adult Group - John Paul II - Ministry for 18-24 year olds aimed at strengthening the young adult's relationship with Christ and each other by providing opportunities that will build a stronger foundation of their knowledge of Christ, the Catholic Faith and their commitment to the community through service. Youth Ministry - Help fulfill the spiritual and other needs of our Junior (grades 6-8) and Senior (grades 9-12) Youth group members through spiritual, social and service activities. For Senior Youth Group contact Tara Parker at 470-3541. For Junior Youth Group contact Kevin Fitzgerald at 744-5777

Evangelization

Bible Study - Join others who are interested in learning more about our Bible. Contact Marty Lynch at 743-9757

Catechists - Share the Catholic Faith with the children of the Parish. Contact Mary Ferri at 743-4557

Children’s Liturgy - Help children (2 and up) learn and understand their Christian faith. Contact Mary Ferri at 743-4557

Fun-in-the-Sun Summer Camp - Two week summer camp of faith and fun for children in grades k-6. Contact Kate Fitzgerald at 744-5777

Pre-Baptism Team - Inform parents of their responsibilities as they prepare for their child’s Baptism. Contact Deacon Mike Oles – 798-1884

RCIA Sponsor - Accompany an individual on their Spiritual journey to join the Catholic Church and provide a welcoming atmosphere for people interested in joining the Catholic Church. Contact Dennis Nauheimer at 794-9488

Vacation Bible School - One week summer program for 3-8 year olds. Teenage/adult counselors needed. Contact Mary Ferri at 743-4557

Liturgy

Adult Acolytes - Provide adult altar servers at funerals and memorial services. Contact Deacon Mike Oles – 798-1884

Altar Server - Support the community in celebration of the Church’s weekly liturgy. Contact Fr. Cyrus at 744-5777

Cantors - Lead the congregation in song. Contact Mike Macelletti at 744-2089

Choir Member - Sing as part of the choir during Sunday Mass and other special services. Contact Elizabeth Barnes at 798-0076

Contemporary Choir - Open to singers and instrumentalists interested in more current music. Contact Debbie Caraluzzi at 730-0804

Lector - Read the Scripture of the day and the petitions at Mass. Contact the Rectory at 744-5777

Nocturnal Adoration Society - Gather on the First Fridays of the month in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Contact Jim Edelmann at 748-4530

Usher - Assist with seating prior to Mass and other services. Collect offerings at Mass. Contact the Rectory at 744-5777

Service

Altar Linen Committee - Provide properly maintained small linens for use at all masses Contact Peg Kennedy – 748-4716

Bereavement Committee - Support family of deceased by setting up the Parish Hall for refreshments following the funeral. Mary Anne Garanacker – 748-8713

Clothing Bank - Help with sorting and packing clothes for distribution to needy families Contact Catherine Gadarowski at 792-5171

Coffee and... - To help foster a sense of community within the congregation by encouraging getting together after Mass on Sundays in the Church Hall. Contact the Rectory at 744-5777

Dorothy Day Shelter - Provide support in sheltering the homeless at their Hospitality House. Contact Deacon Mike Oles at 798-1884

Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen - Assist in feeding the homeless and hungry at their Hospitality House. Contact Deacon Mike Oles at 798-1884

Holy Gardener's Group - Assist in care of our grounds: planting, weeding and putting up decorations. Contact Linda MacGregor at 792-3574

Meals on Wheels - To deliver daily meals to homebound persons once a month. Contact Lucille Walsh at 744-4259

Prayer Line - Provide support in the form of prayers to those in need. Contact Mary Walsh at 798-1237 or Colleen Santaniello at 792-0009
