St. Mary School, a Christ-centered educational community and a Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award Winner, is dedicated to fostering Catholic faith and values while striving for academic excellence within a nurturing family atmosphere.

St. Mary School provides a Christ-centered education in which God and faith form the core of the academic setting. Each student develops a personal relationship with Christ, which is reinforced during classroom education, daily prayer, participation in school Masses and extensive preparation for the Sacraments.

At an early age, the children learn to celebrate and share their faith. As they grow, the children are called to put their faith into action. Whether taking on more responsibilities in school, participating in extracurricular activities or working on community service projects, the students recognize that their Catholic faith is to be learned and lived. The proven core curriculum is complemented by a well-equipped computer technology laboratory as well as strong foreign language and advanced math programs. Our students regularly score in the upper percentiles on standardized tests and are finalists in science, math, and writing competitions. We provide our children with the tools to learn, the faith to support them and the people to encourage them. St. Mary School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Family Atmosphere

Family is at the heart of all we do at St. Mary School. From the start of a child's academic career, parents are encouraged and expected to be active participants. The school boasts an active parent association, opportunities to volunteer in the classroom and regular invitations to share in school liturgies, academic assemblies and family fun activities. Enrichment Activities

We encourage participation in school-related extracurricular activities. Our student council, school-buddy, basketball, cheerleading and school band programs provide our students with opportunities to learn and practice leadership, mentorship and teamwork. Outreach and community service projects invite the students to experience the broader world around them and work together to make it better. The after school program enables the children to study and play in a safe environment. We encourage our children to grow and develop in so many ways, but always centered in faith.
