United Youth

As part of our new United Youth Ministry program, we’re kicking off a brand new 8th grade youth group!  All 8th graders are invited to attend our Fall Kick Off on November 8th at 6:30pm at St. Rose in Newtown. There will be food, games, prayer and a ton of fun!

United Youth Ministry is open to all teens in grades 9 through 12 from St. Rose, St. Mary’s Bethel, and St. Joseph’s Brookfield. Each aspect of our ministry focuses on fostering authentic Catholic community while providing opportunities for prayer, fellowship and a personal encounter with Christ.

Certain activities in our Youth Groups require advanced sign-up by specified deadlines and signed permission/liability forms. This information is available in the bulletin or here on our website. Please also check the bulletin or website for details, changes, and updates in our schedule.

In an effort to help our High School teens learn more about Catholic social teaching and how it relates to others, we sponsor an annual Mission Trip/Retreat sometime during the Summer break. This trip is available to teens from our parish currently in High School.

Little Flowers Girls' Club

The Little Flowers Girls’ Club is a Fun, Flexible, Faith-filled Catholic Club program whose goal is to provide young Catholic girls (and Moms), from age five and up, with an opportunity to gather and learn about their Catholic heritage, faith, virtues and traditions through games and crafts, scripture, saints’ biographies and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It is hoped the Little Flowers would learn what it means to be a Catholic girl and eventually a Catholic woman. Whether she is called to a life of consecration to our Lord, as a single woman, or as a wife and mother, what she learns as a Little Flower will give a strong foundation upon which to build.
